Call for speaker proposals for our 2024 HAND Conference!
The 2024 HAND conference titled “Back to the Future: Food First” will take place on April 12th, 2024 at O’ahu Country Club. See pdf for more details. All proposals need to be submitted through this online form by Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 midnight Hawaii Time. Emailed proposals will not be accepted.
● Notification of speaker selection will be e-mailed by November 31, 2023
Upon selection, each speaker will be required to submit the following:
By December 31, 2023:
● Brief bio for session moderator to use (approximately 100 words, or less)
● Photo: headshot in PNG format, 250 x 250 pixels
By March 12, 2024: Slide presentation

Our CPI Chair, Caroline Hamatake, MPH, RDN, LD is excited to announce that the HAND Journal Club is back!
The first journal club will take place Wednesday August 30th at the Kaimuki Public Library from 5:30-6:30 pm. Future journal clubs will alternate between virtual meetings and in-person meet ups.
Please see the attached flyer for more details on the August 30th event and the article we’ll be discussing. The event is pre-approved for 1 CEU. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with your peers! We are excited to see you there!
