“Dietetics Practice in the Unique, Culturally Diverse Pacific Island Region” features members of the Hawai‘i Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (HAND).
This study uses the HAND 2014 member survey results to describe RDN practice, the populations that they serve, and the needs for topic- and race/ethnic-specific resources. Findings from this study inform opportunities to enhance dietetics practice in the Pacific Island region, such as the development of new, culturally relevant resources.
